Your Mission @TUI Musement
As a Technical Project Manager - API Integration, you will engage with our partners to support early technical conversations and advise the execution of our integration plan as our company start collaborating with T&A providers, performing technical integration within our Integration Platform, identifying challenges, providing guidance, agreeing on solutions and defining the integration portfolio together with the Integration Product Manager.
You will support our Content Operations team and Offer team in assessing partner technical setups and how they reflect on our Integration Platform, guiding your development team - composed of experienced backend Software Engineers - towards delivering as many integrations as possible. By the nature of this role, you will also interact with the various Technical teams of our partners as well as internal teams', Product Managers Engineering Managers and Software Engineers.
What you will do with us
  • Based on defined priorities, accurately Initiate, Plan, Execute, Control and Close API integrations with relevant partners driving the project to completion together with your Software Engineer colleagues.
  • Support business requests by fostering a common understanding of current API capabilities and surface improvements and report change requests to Product Teams
  • Together with Engineers, write relevant API documentation, evolve onboarding and monitoring processes
  • Implement a communication strategy to support ongoing and regular communication with stakeholders, partners and product teams
What you are expected to bring
  • Deep understanding of REST API architectures and distributed systems
  • Proficiency in writing Technical Documentation addressed to broad audiences
  • A Professional Certification on Project Management (PMI/CAPM/CSM)
  • Capable of Troubleshooting and Providing hands-on support to partners
  • Fluently written and spoken English, Spanish and Italian as a bonus

What you already achieved

  • BSc in Software Engineering
  • Experience as a Project Manager from a major technology company, software consultancy firm, or TELCO
  • 3+ Years of experience in system integrations, with a specific focus on mission-critical real-time APIs
  • 3+ Years of experience in Technical Project Management
  • 3+ Years of experience in the Travel industry
